SSS ID is no longer for free « .: kulay pinay - fun reads for pinays (filipino women) :.

SSS has recently passed a proposition paper asking for a P500 fee for processing and printing of the SSS ID. No date has been set yet on when this will be implemented but this proposition is close to being approved.

To those who have not applied for the ID yet, I suggest you apply now that it is still for free.

FYI, the ID can be used for availing SSS benefits, i.e., Salary loan, sickness and Maternity benefits. Not to mention the unquestionable validity for those piece of plastic they call the SSS ID.

Hi. As of this writing, August 14, 2008, I have received no confirmation or updates that the proposal is approved and implemented. Please disregard the title and assume it is still for free and let’s wait in the news because for sure this will be publicized when the proposition is approved. Thanks all.

tang inang SSS! KApal ng mukhang kumaltas ng pera sa sueldo namin pero ang bagal ng service. Ive applied for an SSS ID last Nov. 2007, ngayong MAy 2008 na, wala parin hanggang ngayon. Tae talga ang SSS.

hi… totoo ba yang P500 na? sure po ba kau? as in lahat ng branches? grabe nman yan..pero good for me, khit wla akong SSS ID, nakpagsalary loan p rin ako:)

Putangna wag na kayo mag apply ng SSS id na yaN! kung id lang kaylangan nyo kuha na lang kayo ng NBI Clearance ID sa NBI Carriedo!
